MarketSharp has announced the launch of the newest version of software, MarketSharp M, a marketing and management system for the home improvement industry.
MarketSharp M will allow users advanced functionality in lead generation and marketing; searching and filtering for instant data retrieval; lead, customer and job tracking; production and service management; and reporting and data analysis.
New features of the software include a Web-based platform, which will allow users access to the program from any computer connected to the Internet; a “role based employee setup” interface, to configure each employee’s permission levels relevant to their job or specific task; an advanced calendar and scheduler; an activity process for leads and production, to maintain organization; a redesigned “One-to-Many” database structure; and advanced data analysis and reporting functionality.
“We wanted our software to be the top-of-the-line quality and have all the latest features, yet still maintain functionality and user friendliness,” said Tim Musch, director of business development. “As always, we live by our principle: keep it simple!”
Data will be stored at Hosting.com to allow for more security. Software users will no longer require a server and data will be backed up daily.
“Offsite data backup is so important to us that we wanted to ensure the storage would be online,” said Jeremy Burkart, network administrator. “Customers will never have to worry about damages to their physical data through fires and other natural disasters.”
“Users will be able to access the software from anywhere, at anytime, and that is something we are proud of,” added Burkart. “We took customer suggestions and criticisms to heart, and improved our product.”
Pricing for MarketSharp M will be based on a shared-user license; if only five employees will use the software at any given time, even though the company employs 15 people, the license will only need to be purchased for five people. Most software companies require a license for every user. Tech support and automatic software updates will also be included in the price for MarketSharp M.
