Step 1

Update your website forms to meet SMS compliance requirements. The following items are required for approval:

  1. Opt-in checkboxes for transactional and marketing communications
  2. Messaging disclosures, including message types, frequency, and that data rates may apply
  3. Links to your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. These must be public pages.

Important: Twilio reviews your website as part of the SMS approval process. Missing opt-in language, Terms of Service, or Privacy Policy pages may delay approval.

 

Example opt-in language for your website forms:

Step 2

Complete and submit the form on this page so we can complete your registration. When submitting the form, you will need:

  • Contact Name (First, Last)
  • Your Email and Job Title
  • Company Name (must match the name registered to your EIN)
  • Business Phone Number
  • Company Website URL
  • Terms of Service URL
  • Privacy Policy URL
  • EIN (Tax ID Number)
  • If your company is privately or publicly owned

Step 3

Once we receive your form submission, we will conduct the following registration process:

  1. We will provide a campaign message on your behalf to the third-party compliance vendor.
  2. Once your website opt-in language, Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, and campaign are approved by the third-party compliance vendor, you will be registered and approved for messaging.

Note: Approval can take up to 2 weeks.
