In 1988, Tim Musch (currently MarketSharp Director of Business Development) was asked by his brother to try his hand at writing some software to help him with his Midwestern wholesale/retail window operation. Tim’s brother happily used the software for years, watching it transform his business, and in 1996, a group of entrepreneurial home improvement professionals familiar with the software decided to officially take MarketSharp Software to market.
In the early days, the desktop version of the software was on the forefront of database marketing and management for the remodeling industry. With each version, the software’s technology and functionality were enhanced and upgraded.
We knew that web-based technology was the future and got to work creating an online solution for remodelers that retained the industry-specific features our customers relied on, yet would fully automate their business practices of generating leads, coordinating team efforts, and monitoring results.
