Just wanted to say thanks to the crew there at MarketSharp. Leads as you all know are very hard to get these day, and advertising is expensive. The newspaper use to always pull in leads for us, but not anymore. I know it is a slow time of year, but there are still people out there spending money on home improvement projects, so we need to get our name out there and get in front of them.
I have heard that some of the best leads, are existing customers that are already familiar with your work and customer service. So, the first week in January, I decided to send out a letter to some of our customers. I used one of the MarketSharp templates (which made it so easy). I just tagged the customers in a certain area, put in our new products, our call to action and expiration date. I sent out about 500 letters, and I would guess we have had at least 20-25 customers call in. This one mailing from MarketSharp has been responsible for almost all of our sales in January!
We have used MarketSharp for 10 years now, and it has always been one of the most important tools in the office as far as creating the Lead Sheet for the Sales, Work Orders for the installers, Surveys, etc. I realize we have not even touched on how much it will help our business grow, just by using the tools that are right at our finger tips.
Also thanks to tech support for walking me through things that I not familiar with. Please feel free to use me as a referral if you ever need to.
Thanks, Tammy

When we first considered purchasing MarketSharp, I thought it would be a good investment, but I assumed it was simply a database program that would make it easier to keep track of things. Boy was I surprised!!!
I had no idea the program had so much capability. Now we easily track contact information, record notes about conversations with Leads and Customers, and set reminders to recontact and follow up with Leads. In addition to those tools, we also track lead costs and job costs. Since we can track sales generated by various lead sources, we are saving $5000 a month by eliminating some ineffective advertising.
Tracking job costs helped us see our profit margin wasn’t high enough. We made some adjustments in pricing, and saw an improvement in cash flow and profit. MarketSharp was one of the best investments we made in the administrative side of our business. Our production side was always good because we use high quality products installed by highly skilled craftsmen. Now we have a good quality product in the office that helps support production.

We purchased the last 6 months of new homeowners in our market for a total of 2,782 records. We mailed this list and did a phone follow-up call. The cost of the advertising campaign was $2225. This marketing campaign resulted in 22 sales for $175,000 in new business so far... but we are not done yet. Our average sale is $7955. Our cost per SALE is $101 and the percentage of Net Sales spent on Advertising is 1.27%. Because of our success we're going to sign up to receive New Homeowners on a monthly basis.

I recently learned about the importance of marketing to old unsold leads. After attending a MarketSharp Training Seminar in Orlando, FL, I returned to my office and sent out a Second Chance mailing to 30 old leads. So far, it has resulted in one sale for $23,000. Not only did we get the sale, but the customer also thanked us for sending the letter because she had forgotten about our company.

I feel the MarketSharp program is a great investment for any company and would highly recommend it.

Our favorite feature is the mailing function. We send follow-ups to unsold leads, we mail invitations to sunroom open houses and we especially like announcing a completed project with jobsite postcards. MarketSharp has been a huge time saver for us. In the “olden days”(before MarketSharp) we had to put two labels on our jobsite postcards one for the address and the other for the message. Uhh! Now, with the help of MarketSharp, it is as simple as a click of the mouse and the postcards fly from our printer. We truely appreciate the clever mailer designs available. And since MarketSharp offers the ability to customize our own messages, we have sent several fun promotional and seasonal offers using the unique mailers. We are constantly learning more about the capabilities of the program with the help of your courteous Tech Support staff. Soon enough we hope to be using MarketSharp to its fullest potential.

MarketSharp is the tool we use to integrate many systems and create a business that strives for total customer satisfaction. In addition, Market Sharp is used to control our business volume through marketing by controlling the quantity and quality of leads we receive.

Thank You MarketSharp! When I first saw the demo for MarketSharp, I was very excited to see what all the software was capable of doing. However, I was also a little reserved in making the purchase due to the price and the thought that kept running through my head that told me that it seemed the software was too easy to use. After many meetings with our sales representative at MarketSharp, as well as internal company meetings, we decided to go ahead and purchase the program hoping it would help catapult our leads and sales. I am very happy that we chose to purchase the software. It came with a list of 10,000 prospects and we ran our first postcard mailing to about 4,500 homeowners in our local market that fit the demographics of the clientele we work with. I purchased the postcards from MarketSharp’s website and was very satisfied with the pricing, quality, and shipping time. Once the postcards arrived I was anxious to get started but was also a little nervous that I would mess up these postcards and be upset that I printed something wrong. Wow was I ever surprised. Once I ran my filters and determined who I wanted to send the direct mail pieces to it was painless. My personalized message appeared on the card along with the prospects address and our mail imprint. The only manual thing I had to do was separate the postcards, which was very painless. Since mailing the postcard two weeks ago we have gotten 8 eight new leads and feel confident that at least 3 of those will turn into sales. Our intent is to mail to the same 4500 homeowners two more times spaced out about 3 months apart. We have heard that statistics show that it takes a least three touches before they become clients. Compared to my previous direct mail pieces where I had to print, stuff, seal and stamp, this is the easiest and most user friendly marketing program with very little hands on time spent creating the mailing. The software did all the work for me. In addition, I want to point out that tech support and training is awesome. I have attended every webinar training session so far and learn more and more each time. I did have a couple questions regarding “how to do” something and each time I was called back within 10 minutes and saved myself hours of time trying to figure it out on my own. The tech support team makes you feel good about asking the questions. Overall, I am a very satisfied customer and have no regrets on purchasing the software.

We primarily sell a leaf shedding gutter system. Our average sale is $1500-1800. We recently mailed 72 postcards around an in-progress gutter job in a more affluent area. So far, as a result of the mailing, we’ve sold one additional job for $6100. This is our largest gutter sale ever. We figure it cost $37 to do the mailing.

I am happy to be part of MarketSharp and have no regrets in buying the service. I had taken many of the FREE seminars and knew beforehand that MarketSharp was a great program.
Marketing is the life blood of any business. Last month I sent out postcards to half my client base and out of about 150 past customers, I got three additional jobs out of it.
I love the idea about following up old leads with reminders to me to keep in touch with them which will get me more jobs. I also love the idea that we have a place to keep our paperwork on the new lead paint laws. It is wonderful that we can scan in the paperwork and attach directly to our customer.
I am fairly new to MarketSharp, but so far my greatest experience with it would be the response I had to the postcard mailer. I will continue to do more!
