The RRP Rule, which began on April 22, 2010, is designed to help reduce the hazards of lead based paint exposure during renovation projects. The RRP Rule is best known for the specific safety work practices that must be followed by contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects for compensation that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 to prevent lead contamination. In addition to work safety practices, the Rule also requires contractors to keep extensive recordkeeping notes and documentation for a minimum of three years for every renovation project.
The LPC module in MarketSharp software was created based on tremendous feedback from existing remodeling clients having difficulty meeting the recordkeeping and documentation compliance demands of the RRP Rule.
